Collegiate Challenge Collegiate Challenge is Habitat for Humanity’s year-round alternative break program that provides opportunities for students from youth groups, high schools and colleges to spend a week of their school break building a house in partnership with a Habitat for Humanity affiliate in the United States. Are you up for the Challenge ? Any student group interested in working for a week of Collegiate Challenge with HFHSTW should contact Volunteer Services at 985-893-3172.
“Collegiate Challenge is a great way to kick off our construction year,” said Brandon Strunk, Construction Services Manager. “The staff enjoys working with the students, teaching a new set of skills to people who are genuinely excited to work.” Most of HFHSTW construction and volunteer staff have actually worked with Collegiate Challenge prior to working with our affiliate. Students usually arrive on Sunday or Monday and work onsite Tuesday through Saturday. HFHSTW 2009 Collegiate Challenge participants: FEBRUARY MARCH APRIL |
