The James Family

"Thank you for helping me warm up this Winter."

We had a very special homeowner closing on his house this week. Gilbert James, a longtime family partner who has experienced health and other personal setbacks, purchased his home. Because of his setbacks, it looked for a while that Mr. James may not have the income to continue to qualify as a homebuyer. Through the resourcefulness of our staff, we were able to take an older home that had come back to us, renovate it to meet Gilbert’s needs, including energy efficient measures to keep his utilities low, and sell the home to him for $56,400 which is a significant discount from our current house price of $82,000. Mr. James’ house note will now be affordable and he will have a safe, decent home that he owns.

We are blessed with a dedicated staff committed to our family partners. A special thanks to Terri, Lara Bell and Brandon for their hard work in making this happen for Mr. James. It will be a special Christmas for him. Merry Christmas to all.
